Southwest China's Yunnan Province did 810 million US dollars worth of foreign trade with members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) from January to June, up 43.5 percent year-on-year.
In breakdown, exports made up 540 million US dollars, up 24.8 percent, and imports accounted for 270 million US dollars, than more doubling the figure for the same period last year, according to the statistics provided by Kunming Customs of Yunnan.
Trade volume with ASEAN now accounts for 35 percent of Yunnan's total foreign trade, a rise of two percentage points according to comparable figure of last year.
Myanmar, Vietnam and Indonesia have become Yunnan's top three trade partners among ASEAN countries, with the trade volume amounting to 360 million US dollars, 170 million US dollars, and 100 million US dollars in the first half of the year, respectively.
