Since then, a dozen specific regulations and more than 240 local laws and regulations concerned have been issued. Currently, the country has a total of over 3,000 institutions on the protection of military facilities at different levels. Over the past 15 years, many criminal cases involving the sabotaging of military facilities have been handled by authorities of different levels, with more than 1,200 criminals punished by law. In the meantime, the military has abandoned more than 700 outmoded defense fortifications and relocated over 200 others. Dozens of airports and seaports are now being shared by both military and civilian clients. So far, all the military zones in the country have been measured, with all the signs put up in the forbidden areas.
