An exhibition highlighting agricultural development in China and ASEAN is scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur in late November, it was revealed at a press conference held in this capital city of southwest China's Yunnan Province Thursday.
The four-day ASEAN-China agriculture show will exhibit 41 agricultural items including flowers, tourist solutions, and bio-technologies, which are expected to facilitate cooperation between government and private investors from China and ASEAN, according to Kerk Loong Sing, president of the exhibition's organizing committee.
"Malaysia views China as a very important market in the world", said Kerk Loong Sing, expressing the belief that the exhibition will serve as a platform for the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China to exchange ideas and for the advancement of agriculture.
The exhibition, starting from November 25, will have more than 600 booths covering some 14,000 square meters.
