Sri Lankan plans major presence of products in US

Sri Lanka's Advanced Technology and National Enterprise Development Ministry is planning a major presence of Sri Lankan products in the United States, local media reported Friday.

Minister Rohitha Bogollagama, who is in the United States leading a parliamentary delegation, met and had discussions with several senior representatives of trade in Los Angeles recently in a bid to promote Sri Lankan products there, according to official Daily News.

Among the future plans are to set up a representative office cum display center manned by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board at the California market center located in down town Los Angeles.
