Chief negotiators meet at six-party talks

Chief negotiators to the six-party talks held a meeting Friday afternoon in Beijing.

The meeting lasted for about half an hour, said an official from the Japanese Embassy in Beijing. But no immediate informationis available now.

The talks on Korean Peninsula nuclear issue started on Tuesday,yet no deadline has been set. The talks involve China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the United States, the Republic of Korea, Russia and Japan.
