Five Palestinians arrested by Israeli troops
font size

At least five Palestinians were arrested by Israeli troops in Gaza and the West Bank on Friday, Palestinian security sources and witnesses said.

According to the sources, among the five arrested, three from Barqeen town in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, while the two others from Abu Holi barrier area in central Gaza Strip.

Earlier Friday, the Israeli forces launched their house-storming operations in central Gaza.

A number of Israeli military vehicles and a bulldozer rolled into two checkpoints, while the troops prevented Palestinians from pass through the two points via Salahuddin road, the only gateway for Palestinians' movement in the Gaza Strip.

The restriction resulted in a long queue of Palestinian cars at the two points to wait for the Israeli searching.
