Discovery crew start first of three spacewalks

Two astronauts of the shuttle Discovery started their first spacewalk early Saturday.

Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi and American Steve Robinson began the first of the three planned spacewalks. The spacewalk that had been scheduled at 3:44 am (0844 GMT) was delayed by over an hour.
