Potala Palace reopened after renovation

Tourists sightsee at the newly renovated Potala Palace Square in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, July 31, 2005. The square was reopened to the public July 31 following a four-month renovation costing 150 million RMB yuan (about 18.5 million US dollars).
