Chinese FM holds phone talks with US secretary of state

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Wednesday morning, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

The ministry said in a short news release that the two leaders exchanged views on Sino-US relations and issues of common concern.

Details of the talks are not disclosed.
