Al Qaida video issues warning on Britons
font size

A new videotape showing al Qaida leader Osama bin Laden's right-hand man Ayman al Zawahiri warning Britons of more terror attacks was broadcast by Britain's Sky News TV on Thursday.

"(Prime Minister Tony) Blair's policies will bring more destruction to Britons after the London explosions," said the aged man against the backdrop of a machine gun, referring to the attacks in central London on July 21, which killed 56 people and injured more than 700 others.

"Blair has brought to you destruction in central London, and he will bring more of that, God willing," he said in the video that was previously broadcast by the al Jazeera satellite channel based in Qatar.

The video also warned that the United States will face more horror than it did back in the Vietnam war.
