China's lubricating oil production up 13.6 percent

In the first half of this year, China's lubricating oil production reached 2.71 million tons, up 13.6 percent year on year, according to latest figures from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

The Monarch lubricating oil, produced by the Beijing Tongyi Petroleum Chemical Company, boasted the largest output during the period among all lubricating oil manufacturers, NBS figures show.

In the first half of this year, the total lubricating oil output of the Beijing Tongyi Petroleum Chemical Company reached 175,800 tons, up 36.56 percent year on year.

Two factories of the China National Petroleum Corporation in northwest Lanzhou city and northeast Dalian city produced 162,000 tons and 147,200 tons lubricating oil respectively, ranking the second and third place in the country during the period, according to the NBS.
