A book titled "Nepal-China Relations" was released here Thursday to mark the golden jubilee of the establishment of Nepal-China diplomatic relations, the state-own Radio Nepal reported Friday.
"Nepal-China relations are all weather relations, which are based on mutual understanding, mutual trust, mutual respect and treating each other equally," Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Sun Heping said when releasing the book.
China and Nepal are amicable neighbors linked by mountains and rivers, and people in the two countries enjoy long history of friendly exchanges. "The book will be helpful to understand the cordial ties between the two neighbors," Sun said.
"China is the most trustworthy, dependable and mutual friend of Nepal," Nishchal Raj Pandey, executive director of the IFA and the editor of the book, said at the ceremony.
"There are no outstanding issues to settle and no differences to clear up, only to intensify and expand the already existing warm relations so as to suit the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century," Pandey noted.
"Nepal could be benefit from her northern neighbor's progress as China is growing like a continental power and has gained much influence and importance in world affairs," Pandey added.
