Chinese President Hu Jintao Saturday appointed new ambassadors to two countries in accordance with a decision made by the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

Liu Huanxing was appointed the ambassador to Barbados, replacing Yang Zhikuan.

Li Baodong was appointed the ambassador to the Republic of Zambia, replacing Hu Shouqin.
