Tibetans celebrate Horse Racing and Art Festival

Some 1,000 Tibetans perform Guozhuang Dance on the Damxung Grassland in northern Tibet of the Tibet Autonomous Region on August 3, 2005. The annual seven-day Horse Racing and Art Festival unveiled here on August 1. During the carnival, locals competed in traditional games, including some unique Tibetan activities like Tibetan weight lifting, as well as ethnic costume shows.
