State Environmental Protection Administration to select China Environmental Friendly Projects

The deputy director of the State Environmental Protection Administration Pan Yue announced on August 15 that the biyearly "China Environmental Friendly Projects" selection was officially started.

This is another measure to implementing the supervising system, aside from the insistent bans and punishments from the SEPA on those construction projects breaking the regulations. The projects to be selected are those that are built within three years and have passed appraisals at environmental protection departments above the municipality level before July 31, 2005.
