Chinese president accepts credentials from 5 new ambassadors

Chinese President Hu Jintao accepted the credentials from the new ambassadors to China from the Republic of Namibia, Kingdom of Tonga, Serbia and Montenegro, the Republic of Cape Verde and the Federated States of Micronesia in Beijing Tuesday.

The new ambassadors include Leonard NamBahu, ambassador of the Republic of Namibia, who arrived here on March 22, 2005; Emeline Uheina Tuita, the first ambassador of the Kingdom of Tonga to China, who arrived here on March 31, 2005; Pero Baruncic, ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro, who arrived here on July 27, 2005; Julio Cesar Freire De Morais, the first ambassador of the Republic of Cape Verde to China, who arrived here on Aug. 10, 2005, and Kasio Mida, non-residential ambassador of the Federated States of Micronesia who was appointed in August, 2004.
