Liu Yunshan, head of the Department of Publicity of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met in Beijing Tuesday with a delegation of the Papua New Guinea (PNG) National Alliance Party.

Liu, also a member of the Political Bureau and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, answered some questions on the organization and ideological theory of the CPC.

Liu appreciated the PNG's consistent adherence to the one-China policy.

The delegation is led by Don Polye, the party's vice chairman and minister for transport and civil aviation of Papua New Guinea.

The delegation has come to visit China at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
