17 central enterprises sign Terms of Agreement with SASAC

It is learnt from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) website that 17 central enterprises have signed the energy-saving agreement with SASAC recently.

These enterprises promised that they will mainly increase the resource utilization efficiency, strengthen internal administration, take the lead in adopting the techniques and facilities of low energy consumption, high-efficiency and low pollution. Meanwhile, they are also expected to actively promote the structural adjustment of the products and the upgrading of the whole system.

By sticking to the principles of introducing and digesting, absorbing as well as innovating, these enterprises will vigorously implement the research, promotion and application on saving all kinds of resources such as energy, water, land, materials, speeding up the development of recycling industries and realising the unification of speed, qualify, safety and profits.

These enterprises also vow to catch up with the world's advanced levels in the same trade in the next 3 to 5 years through sustained endeavors. The 17 central enterprises that have signed the energy-saving agreement are China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, Faw Group, Baosteel, Anshan Iron & Steel (Group) Corporation, Wuhan Iron & Steel (Group) Corporation, State Grid Corporation of China, China Huaneng Group,etc.
