The 72nd 10-million-ton oil field at Shengli Oil Field was put to production recently with perfect industrial oil flowing out of the 101 and 102 oil wells.

The oil field is located in Yangxin county of Shandong province, around the periphery of Shengli exploratory area. Its geological structure is that of a depression which contains rich resources such as oil, natural gas and carbon dioxide. The field has an oil area of 8.4 square kilometers with an oil reserve of 10.05 million tons. 20 oil wells will be drilled.
