font size

China's Olympic gold medalist Liu Xiang is back in Beijing and preparing for the upcoming Asian Athletics Championships next month.

Liu, who pocketed two silver medals and a bronze in three events in the Golden League, is aiming for gold at the Asian Champs in Inchon, South Korea.

Besides the Asian event, Liu will also take part in the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix on September 17 and the All-star tournament in Japan two days later.

At the two international events, Liu will once again clash with arch rivals Allen Johnson of the United States and Frenchman Ladji Doucoure.

Liu's schedule also includes the 10th National Games in October and the following East Asian Games in November.
