Sri Lankan president, Malaysian deputy PM to visit China

Sri Lankan President Chandrika Kumaratunga will pay a state visit to China from August 30 to September 2 at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan in Beijing Tuesday.

Prior to her state visit, Chandrika Kumaratunga will also attend a commemorating meeting on the 10th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women to be held in Beijing, said Kong.

Malaysian deputy prime minister to visit China

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak will pay an official visit to China from August 31 to September 6 at the invitation of Chinese Vice Premier Huang Ju, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan in Beijing Tuesday.
