China's textile exports report 61.5 billion US dollars in first seven months

The latest customs statistics show that China's textile exports reached 61.5 billion US dollars in the first seven months of this year.

Among them, June and July witnessed the exports exceeding 10 billion US dollars with a monthly growth rate of 27.8 and 23.2 per cent respectively, higher than the 19.3 per cent increase in the first five months.

Of them, China's exports to the European Union in the first six months were 8.65 billion US dollars, or up 130 per cent year on year. In June, China's exports to the EU reached 2.1 billion US dollars, an increase of 85 per cent if compared with the same period of last year.
