An Airbus A300-B4 of the Turkish airline Fly Air with 148 passengers on board was grounded at Paris Charles-de-Gaulle airport Saturday and barred from flight again Sunday after a second inspection, French civil aviation authority DGAC said on Sunday.
According to DGAC officials, a small fuel leak was discovered on the left side of the aircraft and unauthorized tires were used on two of the plane's wheels.
Authorities are planning to release a blacklist to ban air carriers with poor safety records from French airports.
The decision was made after five commercial planes crashed in close succession this month.
