Chinese, foreign women leaders watch art performances

Chinese and foreign leaders attending the meeting to mark the 10th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women watched art performances along with an audience of 2,500 Wednesday earning.

The leaders included Vice-Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress Gu Xiulian, Vice-Chairwoman of the All-China Women's Federation Huang Qingyi, Mozambique Prime Minister Luisa Diogo, Vice-Speaker of the Senate of Poland Jolanta Danielak, Vice-Chairperson of the Federal Assembly of Russia Svetlana Orlova, and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Svetlana Inamova.

Also present were foreign ambassadors and their spouses.

Chinese artists entertained the Chinese and foreign audience with music, dances and acrobatics. At the end of the evening party, the leaders walked up the stage and sang a song with the artists.
