China should attach great importance on training high-quality, high-level educational administrators to support the organization and management of the country's education undertakings, said State Councilor Chen Zhili Sunday.
The training of educational administrators is of crucial importance in building a harmonious socialist society in today's China, said Chen at a meeting to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the National Academy of Education Administration ( NAEA).
Chen called on educational administrators around the country to push forward the reform and development of the education sector, keep an open and international mind and boost international exchanges and cooperation.
Education Minister Zhou Ji, also NAEA president, said the academy will further improve the training system of educational administrators to help strengthen their leading capacity.
Established in 1955 and directly led by the Ministry of Education, the NAEA has trained more than 30,000 administrators for educational authorities at various levels.
