A Boeing 737-200 Plane crashed into the densely populated residential area minutes after take-off from the Polonia Airport in Medan on Monday, killing 150 people both on board and on the ground.

Katrina may have claimed 10,000 lives
Victims of Hurricane Katrina are transported to New Orleans International Airport after being rescued out of the city on Sept. 5, 2005. Although body counting in New Orleans and other hurricane-ravaged areas in the United States will not be completed in weeks, the city's mayor Ray Nagin warned Monday that the killer storm may have claimed some 10,000 lives.
