Angola will soon announce candidacy for the organization of the African Cup of Nations (CAN'2010) in soccer, it was reported on Tuesday in Luanda.
According to the chairman of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), Justino Fernandes, his office has already made out all papers to formally submit its intention to the African Confederation of Football (CAF).
Gabon and Kenya are mentioned as another two countries considering to stand for the organization of the CAN`2010.
Angola national team of soccer over the weekend qualified for the finals of the CAN 2006 in Egypt, after beating Gabon 3-0 in Luanda. The country played the finals of 1996 (South Africa) and 1998 (Burkina Faso).
