Portuguese-speaking nations to boost economic ties with ChinaTrade officials from seven Portuguese-speaking nations vowed to enhance economic cooperation with China at an investment promotion fair held in Macao on Tuesday. Representatives from the governments of Angora, Brazil, Portugal, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde Islands, Mozambique and East Timor all hailed Macao for its steady economic growth and its rising role as a platform for trade cooperation between the Chinese mainland and Portuguese-speaking nations. At the fair, they promoted their countries' investment environment and expressed the wish to attract more investments from China.
