HK remains the freest economy in the world

The just released Economic Freedom of the World, 2005 Annual Report again ranks China's Hong Kong SAR the freest economy in the world.

The report, published by the Fraser Institute of Canada and the Cato Institute of the United States, is a result of evaluation of 127 economic systems in the world. Indices of the assessment include protection of property rights, contract enforcement, free trade, marginal tax rates, money policy and the limit of the size and scope of government, etc.
