The Royal Nepal Army (RNA) has found important documents from the anti-government guerrillas, which included the plans to carry out extortion, killing and explosions even after their announcement of the so-called ceasefire,an army official said Sunday.

"The documents were discovered from two guerrillas who were killed in a search operation carried out by the security forces at Narayan city of mid-western Dailekh district, some 700 km west of Kathmandu," Naina Raj Dahal, head of Bhawani Boxa battalion of RNA, told reporters.

"According to the document, the guerrillas will continue killing and terrorizing people by using mines, blasts, ambushes in public places and their sentry system will remain," Dahal said, adding, "The guerrillas also had plan to take action against national and international non-governmental organizations."

The document also contained a list of people to be "eliminated" by the guerrillas, Dahal noted.

The document disclosed that the guerrillas had made a new list of businessmen in the district headquarters for extortion. "They had a plan to extort from 10,000 Nepali rupees (142.85 US dollars) to 100,000 Nepali rupees (1428.57 US dollars) from each of them," he added.

Over 12,000 Nepalese people have been killed since the anti-government insurgency took place in the Himalayan kingdom in February 1996.

The guerrillas' leader Prachanda has announced a three-month unilateral ceasefire with immediate effect from Sept. 3.
