Container throughput at Shanghai Port sets new high
The container throughput of the Shanghai Port increased by 27 percent year-on-year to hit more than 1.6 mln TEU in August, setting a new high in history.
By the end of August, the accumulated throughput of Shanghai Port reached 283.367 mln tons, a year-on-year increase of 13.4 percent. Throughput of foreign trade cargo increased by 18.2 percent to reach 123.368 mln tons.
