Han Qide, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), met here Monday with Jiri Mastalka, a European Parliament member.

Mastalka, who is from the Czech Republic, is a member of the European Parliament's delegation for relations with China.

He is invited by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the NPC.
