Chinese defense minister leaves for Tajikistan, Kazakhstan

Chinese Minister of National Defense Cao Gangchuan left Beijing Tuesday morning for an official good-will visit to Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.

Cao's visit is at the invitations of his Tajik and Kazakh counterparts Sherali Khairullaev and Mukhtar Altynbayev.

Cao's entourage includes Wang Chaoqun, deputy commander of the Air Force of Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) and other officers.
