Northeas province of Liaoning, an old industrial base of China, will build a German industrial park as a part of its ambitious revival plan, local government announced Wednesday.
The industrial park, which will start construction in Shenyang,capital of Liaoning, later this month, will mainly host manufacturing plants invested by European Union members, especially Germany, and it is expected to become a major automobile part production base in northeast China, according to the provincial government.
Besides as an automobile provider for big names like BMW and the Shanghai General Motors, the park, covering 12 square kilometers, will be also home to plants of manufacturing, electronic industry and environmental protection facilities.
