China's Macao Special Administrative Region and Israel signed an Air Service Agreement here on Thursday, vowing to open the bilateral air services in the near future.

A press release issued by Macao's Information Bureau said representatives of the Civil Aviation Authority of Macao and the Civil Aviation Authority of Israel clinched the deal at the conclusion of a two-day meeting.

The press release described the discussions as being held "in a friendly and cordial atmosphere."

Macao has sealed air services agreements with 43 overseas countries and regions, according to the press release.
