Tourists sightsee the Kanas Nature Reserve, 150 kilometers north of Burqin in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, September 14, 2005. The reserve is famous for the Kanas Lake, China's deepest alpine lake with a depth of 188.5 meters. The reserve with a total area of 5,588 square kilometers is a tourism destination.
