Chinese vice premier meets Asian business delegation

Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi met in Beijing Friday with the delegates from the Asia Business Council who are here to attend an annual meeting.

Wu said China and the Asian nations have great potential for cooperation, and China's development offers the Asian countries a large market. She hoped the visiting entrepreneurs will promote economic and trade cooperation between China and Asia to enhance economic development.

S. Dhanabalan, chairman of the Asia Business Council, said China has played an increasingly important role in the global economy, and contributed to the stability of economy development in Asia.

He vowed the Asia Business Council will promote trade and investment with Chinese enterprises.
