The average sales price of commercial forward delivery houses in Beijing was 7,283 yuan per square meter in the first eight months of this year, an increase of 1,345 yuan year-on-year or 22.7 per cent growth, according to a joint announcement by the related departments in Beijing on September 19.

Of all the commercial forward delivery houses, the sales price for commercial residential building was 6,625 yuan per square meter, a growth of 1,027 yuan compared with the same period of last year or an increase of 18.4 per cent.

From the sales structure of commercial forward delivery housing, the sales price, which is below 7,000 yuan per square meter, accounted for 70.7 per cent of the total commercial residential houses. Among them, the price below 5,000 yuan per square meter made up 40 per cent.
