font size

Software industrial bases under the State Torch Program (a plan to develop new and high technology) have become a new and independent driving force of innovation in China's software sector, the vanguard of software internationalization and a cradle nurturing software enterprises, according to the Ministry of Science and Technology.

In the past 10 years, 29 software industrial bases under the State Torch Program have operated in the country with software enterprises exceeding 12,000 and more than 370,000 employees. The gross sales revenue has reached 163.8 billion yuan, accounting for more than 60 per cent of the country's total software sales revenue.
