Delegation of central authorities in Xinjiang for celebration

Central delegation arrives in Xinjiang

A delegation of China's central authorities arrived in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at 1:15 p.m. Friday to attend celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the autonomous region.

The 61-member delegation is headed by Luo Gan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
