China's economic efficiency indicators: timber processing

China's economic efficiency indicators of timber processing and wood, bamboo, cane, palm fiber and straw product in the January-June period of 2005:

sales expenses: 2.22 billion yuan; growth rate: 31.5 percent;

total profits: 2.77 billion yuan; growth rate: 31.8 percent.

The industrial statistics include all state-owned enterprises and the non-state-owned ones with annual sales income over 5 million yuan (602,410 US dollars).
