Sergei Mironov, speaker of the Russian Federation Council, arrived in Beijing Sunday afternoon to continue his three-day official and good-will visit to China.

During Mironov's stay in Beijing, Chinese leaders including President Hu Jintao, top legislator Wu Bangguo, and Premier Wen Jiabao will meet with him, respectively.

Mironov is visiting China at the invitation of Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC).

He visited Dalian, a coastal city of northeast China's Liaoning Province, before he arrived in Beijing.
