Taiwan relaxes restrictions on copyright trade across the Straits
font size

The Mainland Affairs Council of Taiwan on Sep 26 declared application for publications display from mainland can be submitted one month before the exhibition, instead of two moths in the previous practice. It also allows the copyright transactions for mainland publications on display if a permission is given.

People in the publication circle in Taiwan held that the move simplifies the procedure and is beneficial to the exchanges of publications across the Straits. Meanwhile, they also called on Taiwan authorities to lift more substantial restrictions over copyright trade.
