Fifth round Sino-US textile talks end without agreement

The fifth round of Sino-US textile negotiations ended without reaching any agreement, Chinese Ministry of Commerce said Thursday.

China and the United States held the fifth round of textile talks in Washington from Sept. 26 to Sept. 28. Some progress has been made during the negotiations but disputes still exists between the two sides, according to the ministry.

The two sides agreed to hold next round of negotiations as soon as possible, and to set the time and place of the talks through diplomatic channel, said the ministry.
