Bangladesh PM greets Chinese primer on China's National Day

Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia Friday felicitated Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on the occasion of China's National Day on Oct. 1.

"On behalf of the people and the government of Bangladesh and my own behalf, I have great pleasure in extending to you and through you to the people and the government of China warm felicitations and greetings on the auspicious occasion of the 56th National Day of the People's Republic of China," Khaleda Zia wrote to Wen Jiabao in a message.

Khaleda Zia expressed her conviction in the message that the close ties of friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding existing between China and Bangladesh will grow in depth and dimension in the years ahead to the mutual benefit of the two peoples, according to the official news agency BSS.
