China has decided to levy a 7 to 65.2 percent anti-dumping tax on unbleached cowhide trunks cardboard produced in the United States, Thailand, the Republic of Korea and Taiwan.
The tax collection began on Sept. 30, 2005 and will last five years, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced Friday.
The ministry decided to take temporary anti-dumping measures from May 31 as it announced the initial judgement of the case. It made the final judgement on Friday that dumping exists and actual damages are caused as a result after continuous study of the case by investigation agencies.
Traders importing unbleached cowhide trunks cardboard from the above-mentioned four nations and region should pay anti-dumping tax to the customs from Sept. 30 on the basis of the final judgement.
