Chinese leader enjoys National Day concert with Beijing audience

A grand symphonic concert was staged on Friday in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, warming up celebrations for China's National Day, which falls on Saturday.

Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, enjoyed the concert with thousands of Beijing citizens and the Beijing Municipal Government officials.

Young and old generations of Chinese singers and artists performed Chinese folk music and operas.
