Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer on Sunday said the number of Australians killed in latest Bali bombings may be three.

He confirmed earlier in the day that a 16-year-old Australian was killed and 17 others were injured in Saturday night's bombings,in which about 30 people have been killed and more than 100 othersinjured.

"There are also unconfirmed reports of two other Australians who may have been killed," he told Australian Broadcasting Corporation television.

"We're just waiting, a gruesome thing to say, but waiting for the morgue report and we should get that in the next couple of hours," he said.

Three Australians have been seriously injured.

Downer said the most severely injured Australians would be flown to Singapore for further medical treatment.

He said he didn't believe Australians were target of bombers.

"I don't think Australians have been targeted, you can't reallyprove this, but I don't think so," he said.

"Nor do I think Australians were deliberately targeted back in 2002," he said.

Eighty-eight Australians were among the 202 people killed in a series of blasts in Bali in 2002.
