font size

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Kong Quan said in Beijing Sunday that China has already made clear its position to Indonesia on Taiwan leader's stopover at the territory of the country.

Kong made the remark when asked to comment on Taiwan leader Chen Shui-bian's stopover in Bali Island, Indonesia, on his way back from the the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Taiwan due to a typhoon.

The Indonesian side said it will appropriately handle the matter in strict adherence to the one-China policy, the spokesman said.
