Derailed train kills 12, injures 150 in central India

At least 12 people were killed and 150 others wounded Monday when a passenger train derailed in Madhya Pradesh, India, Indo-Asian News Service reported.

The train Bundelkhand Express went off the tracks near Datia station in Datia of Madhya Pradesh and rammed into a railway control cabin.

The exact cause of the accident is yet to be established but the mishap could have occurred due to failure of brakes, said the report.
